About Us
Our Mission
THE AIMS OF CAEDHH
To encourage upgrading of the standards of education of individuals who are Deaf and hard of hearing in Canada.
To upgrade the qualifications of those involved in the education of individuals who are Deaf and hard of hearing in Canada.
To support the establishment of teacher training programs for teachers of the Deaf and hard of hearing that meet certification requirements established by CAEDHH.
To assist in research relating to the education development of individual who are Deaf and hard of hearing.
To coordinate a national convention biennially in Canada.
To present resolutions to appropriate levels of government regarding changes in policies concerning the educational development of individuals who are Deaf and hard of hearing.
To create a professional Canadian publication.
To develop a public and professional awareness of the educational needs of and programs for individuals who are Deaf and hard of hearing.
To support the development of Regional Affiliates of CAEDHH.
To assist other organizations who have similar aims and objectives and to encourage their cooperation and support.
